Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect late tonight through
Sunday morning, which has been expanded to cover the whole
forecast area. Locations along and north of Interstate 80 will see
wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero, with those south of the
interstate seeing wind chills as cold as 10 to 20 below zero.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Bitterly cold air will remain in place Sunday night through
Tuesday. Wind chills of 15 to 30 below zero are expected, and
additional cold weather headlines are likely.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO NOON CST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 27 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois and east central,
  northeast, and southeast Iowa.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
