This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Patchy areas of fog will occur across portions of the Outlook Area
this morning, with a few areas having visibility being reduced to
under a mile at times.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible generally
south of Interstate 80 this morning and through midday. The
stronger storm cells may be able to produce small hail.

A better chance for scattered thunderstorms will occur from late
this evening into early Thursday morning. There is a marginal
risk for severe storms generally along and south of the
Interstate 80 corridor. The primary risk will be large hail up to
1 inch in diameter. Locally heavy rainfall of an inch or more will
also be possible for areas that receive repeated rounds of
thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

An area of low pressure may bring a band of accumulating snow to
portions of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin Friday night into
Saturday morning. Confidence is low on the exact track of this
system, so it is important to monitor the forecast for changes
over the next few days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight.
