Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

There is a Marginal to Slight Risk (level 1 and 2 out of 5 risk)
for severe weather mainly tonight. The threat area is along and
southwest of an Independence, Iowa to Quad Cities line. Large
hail is the primary risk with damaging winds a secondary risk.
Heavy rain could also lead to a localized flooding risk.

Non-thunderstorm winds could gust over 40 mph at times late
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Non-thunderstorm winds could gust over 40 mph at times Tuesday
morning.

There is a Marginal Risk, or level 1 out of 5 risk for severe
weather Tuesday afternoon and early evening, mainly southeast
of a line from the Quad Cities to Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Tornadoes
and damaging winds are the primary threats. Localized flooding is
also possible.

Spotter activation is possible for parts of the area over the next
couple of days.
