This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Numerous slow-moving showers and thunderstorms are expected over
the area with some being capable of heavy rainfall and localized
flooding. Some storms may present an isolated severe risk of
quarter size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. A couple of brief
tornadoes or funnel clouds are also possible in far eastern Iowa
and northern Illinois, mainly this afternoon into early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Wednesday: Isolated thunderstorms are possible mainly east of the
Mississippi River. The main risk will be lightning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight, though
reports of any rainfall over one inch are appreciated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north at 10 mph.
