For this afternoon into tonight, the Storm Prediction Center has an Enhanced Risk, or level 3 of 5, for severe thunderstorms along and northwest of a line from Sterling, IL to Memphis, MO, with a Slight Risk, or level 2 of 5, to the southeast. All severe weather hazards are possible if storms can develop, including damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes. Confidence remains low on the coverage of storms with this event and many areas may get missed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY There is a chance for thunderstorms on Wednesday.
