A quick-hitting band of accumulating snow will move from west to east mainly along and north of I-80 through the evening. A Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded for areas generally along and north of the Highway 30 corridor. This area has the highest chances for receiving a quick 1 to 3 inches of snow, that will be accompanied by gusty southeast winds around 30 mph and reduced visibility at times to under a half mile. Late tonight into early Saturday morning, locations along and south of Interstate 80 may have a period of freezing drizzle or light freezing rain leading to a thin glaze of ice on untreated surfaces. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY More mixed precipitation and snow is expected Saturday and Saturday night, possibly lingering into Sunday morning. More snow accumulations will be probable on Saturday. Increasing northeast winds may produce blowing and drifting snow late Saturday afternoon and into the evening. Colder air will expand into the region Sunday night and persist into at least the middle of next week. Wind chills of 15 to 30 below zero are currently favored for some nighttime and morning periods within that time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
