This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Flood Warnings remain in effect for portions of the area.
Please refer to the National Weather Service website at
weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There will be on and off thunderstorm chances from Saturday
afternoon through Thursday. The most likely periods for storms
will be from Sunday night through Tuesday night. Strong to
possibly severe storms will be possible during that time. Large
hail, damaging winds gusts and heavy rainfall are the main severe
concerns at this time.

Flood Warnings are expected to continue for portions of the area
through the weekend into early next week. Please refer to the
National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed by Sunday night into early next
week.
