Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A Dense Fog Advisory is now in effect for areas along and south of
Interstate 80 through 9 AM this morning. Be prepared for low
visibility and hazardous driving conditions, especially for low-
lying areas and river valleys.

Some area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest
Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

There will be periodic chances of thunderstorms in our area late
Tuesday through end of the week. Some storms could become strong
to severe Wednesday afternoon and evening. A Marginal Risk (level
1 of 5) of severe storms has been issued for most of the area for
Wednesday.

Some area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest
Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibility may vary widely across short
  distances in dense fog, especially in and around river valleys.

  Mississippi River at Gladstone LD18 affecting Henderson and Des
  Moines Counties.

  Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Lee, Henderson, Des
  Moines and Hancock Counties.

  Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Monday evening at 830 PM CDT.

WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Agricultural flooding occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
