DISCUSSION...

Wind chills as low as 20 below zero are possible across parts of
interior northern Illinois early this morning and again late
tonight.

Light snow accumulations may lead to slippery travel late this
afternoon through tonight, mainly near and east of I-55.

  Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected.

* WHERE...Boone, De Kalb, Lee, Ogle, Winnebago, Kane, Lake IL, and
  McHenry Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CST this morning.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite
  on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
