Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

There may be patchy freezing drizzle in spots that may produce
localized slick spots on untreated surfaces. Increasing north
winds with gusts up to 30 mph, may produce blowing and drifting
snow in open and rural areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Areas of light snow may produce a few slick spots Sunday morning
especially across northwest Illinois. Strong northwest winds
gusting up to 35 MPH on Sunday may lead to blowing and drifting
snow in open and rural areas, especially on west to east oriented
roads.

An arctic air mass will move into the region Sunday night and
persist into at least the middle of next week. Bitterly cold wind
chills of 15 to 30 below zero are forecast for some nighttime and
morning periods within that time.
