DISCUSSION...
The combination of gusty southerly winds and afternoon humidities
generally between 25 and 35 percent will lead to an elevated risk
for fire spread near and south of the I-88 corridor this
afternoon, especially west and south of the Chicago metro area.

DISCUSSION...
A system of showers and scattered thunderstorms will move across
the area on Wednesday. Some thunderstorms during the afternoon may
be strong to severe. Rain will transition to wet snow Wednesday
night and continue into early Thursday morning.
