  Significant Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of dense fog is likely tonight through early Monday
morning, especially across portions of northern Illinois. Very
limited and fluctuating visibilities will lead to potentially
hazardous travel.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Friday.

Monday...
  Significant Fog Risk.
Tuesday...
  Limited Fog Risk.
Wednesday through Saturday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

* At 645 PM Sunday the stage was 6.9 feet.
* Action stage is 7.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 7.0 feet by Monday before
  falling late Monday night.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet...Water begins to overflow banks in adjacent
  forest preserve areas.

  Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Lake County
  Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake County
  Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well
as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future. The river
will continue to crest through the first half of this week, with
little to no rainfall expected during that time.

  The Des Plaines River near Des Plaines, or from Palatine Road in
  Prospect Heights downstream to Irving Park Road in Chicago.
* until Friday afternoon.
* At  645 PM Sunday the stage was 17.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue nearly steady at 17.8 feet
  through Tuesday. The river will fall below flood stage by late
  Friday morning.
* Impact...At 18.5 feet...Flood waters affect residential areas of Big
  Bend Drive, Mason Lane, River Road, and Howard.
