This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Light snow is possible tonight, mainly northwest of an Iowa City
to Freeport Illinois line. Any accumulation is expected to be
under 1 inch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A winter storm is expected to impact the entire outlook area
Wednesday and Wednesday night. A winter storm watch has been
issued for northeast Missouri, southeast Iowa, and west central
Illinois, and this will likely be expanded over much of eastern
Iowa and northwest Illinois later today. At this time, there is a
90% or higher chance for more than 3 inches of snow over much of
the outlook area, with at least a 50% chance for amounts over 6
inches. The light fluffy snow is expected to cause travel impacts
to both the morning and evening commutes Wednesday.

Another storm system is forecast for Friday afternoon through
Saturday, with additional accumulating snow.
