This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Cold air will linger across the area through tonight. Low
temperatures this morning are in the single digits above and
below zero with northwest winds of 10 to 15 MPH is resulting in
wind chills in the teens below zero west of the Mississippi
River.

Wind chills late Thursday night into Friday morning will be in the
teens below zero north of Interstate 80 and single digits below
zero to the south.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Another storm system is forecast to move across the area Friday
night through Saturday. A wintry mix of precipitation is possible
south of a Fairfield to Galesburg line with accumulating snow to
the north.

Minimum wind chill values Saturday night and Sunday night are
forecast to drop to 10 below to 20 below. The coldest wind chill
values are expected north of Interstate 80.

Yet another storm system is expected to impact the area Monday
into Tuesday with accumulating snow possible.

...Wind Chill Values Below Zero This Morning...

Temperatures are currently in the single digits and lower teens
above zero across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and far
northeast Missouri. Cold temperatures combined with gusty
northwest winds is resulting in wind chill values in the single
digits and teens below zero across the area. The coldest wind
chills are occurring west of the Mississippi River this morning
with values as cold as 20 below possible with chills as cold as 10
below east of the river. If going outside this morning, dress in
layers, cover exposed skin, and limit time outdoors
