...Moderate To Heavy Snow Continues...

A band of moderate to heavy snow continues to push east of the
Mississippi River, impacting parts of western Illinois. While
most locations may see an inch or less of snow, the areas seeing
the axis of heaviest snow will have the potential of reaching
upwards to 1-2" of snow over the next few hours. Road
temperatures remain mild, which should allow most snow to melt on
impact on most roadways, resulting in little/no accumulation.
Those that see the heavier snowfall rates will have a chance to
see the snowfall overcome the warm pavements and accumulate for a
short time. Expect lower visibilities in the snow as well, where
it may be under a mile at times. Remember, ice and snow, take it
slow!

Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Accumulating snow for many areas along and east of the Mississippi
River will come to an end this morning. Roads and bridges may be
slushy and slick in spots, so please take it slow where there`s
snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Another strong storm system is likely to affect the Midwest around
mid-week. Ahead of this system, warm and breezy conditions will
lead to elevated fire danger Monday and Tuesday. Thereafter, this
system will bring the potential for rain changing to snow mid-week
along with strong winds. Some accumulating snow appears possible
for portions of the area. However, there is a lot of uncertainty
on the track of this system, so please stay tuned for updates.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Any snowfall reports of greater than an inch this morning would be
appreciated.
