A Wind Advisory is in effect for portions of northwest Illinois. There is a chance of snow late this evening into early Sunday morning, mainly along and east of the Mississippi River. Minor accumulations appear possible mainly on elevated and grassy surfaces. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY Another strong storm system is likely to affect the Midwest around mid-week. Ahead of this system, warm and breezy conditions will lead to elevated fire danger Monday and Tuesday. Thereafter, this system will bring the potential for rain changing to snow mid-week along with strong winds. Some accumulating snow appears possible for portions of the area.
