Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the counties approximately along and north of Interstate 80 from late tonight through Monday morning. Bitterly cold wind chills as low as 20 to 25 below zero are expected. Across the southern portion of the outlook area, wind chills as cold as 10 to 15 below zero are forecast. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY A period of light snow is likely on Monday across the southern portion of the outlook area with minor accumulations around 1" or less expected. An arctic air mass over the region will lead to dangerously cold wind chills at times through at least the middle of the week. An Extreme Cold Watch has been issued for Monday night through Tuesday morning for wind chills between 20 to 35 below zero, with the coldest values north of Highway 30.
