Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Very warm and humid conditions are expected today, with afternoon
heat index readings in the middle 90s.

Some area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest
Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Very warm and humid conditions are expected Wednesday, with
afternoon heat index values in the upper 90s and low 100s.

There is a Slight (level 2 out of 5) Risk for severe storms
Wednesday afternoon and evening along and east of a line from
Dubuque to Tipton. Damaging winds, heavy rain, and a low risk for
tornadoes will be the primary threats.

There will be periodic chances of thunderstorms Thursday through
Sunday. It is too soon to determine the threat for severe weather.
