This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Westerly winds will gust from 30 to 40 mph, with a few gusts near
45 mph possible. This will cause some travel difficulties on north
south oriented roads. There may also be localized visibility
restrictions in open areas, near freshly plowed farm fields, due to
blowing dust.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Thursday into Thursday evening.
Some of these storms may be strong to severe, especially south of a
Jacksonville to Paris line. Damaging winds, hail, and a few
tornadoes are possible.

Minor flooding will continue along the Illinois River from Havana to
Beardstown into early next week.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
