...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Additional snow accumulations around 2
  inches possible, with locally higher amounts.

* WHERE...Much of central and east central Illinois, as far
  south as near Interstate 70.

* WHEN...The main period of accumulation will occur through mid
  morning west of I-55, and into early afternoon east of I-55. The
  greatest snow rates are expected between 3 am and 9 am.

* IMPACTS...Slippery road conditions may impact the morning
  commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As temperatures fall into the 20s,
  lingering wet roads may get icy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

  Counties
  Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Brown...Cass...Morgan and
  Schuyler Counties

.The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternate
route. Turn around, don`t drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Illinois River at Beardstown.
* Until further notice.
* At  745 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 15.7 feet by
  Friday afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact...At 14.4 feet...Seepage problems begin in the Coal Creek
  Drainage and Levee District.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois, east central Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Accumulating snowfall is expected this evening through tonight.
Between 1 and 3 inches is expected through daybreak Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

Accumulating light snow will end from west to east Wednesday
afternoon. An additional inch of snow may fall resulting in storm
total amounts of 2 to 4 inches.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
