Hot and humid conditions will continue today, with heat index values ranging from 100 to 105 degrees. Storms are expected to develop in west central Illinois and move into east central Illinois this evening, continuing to around midnight. Some of these may be strong to severe, with damaging winds the main concern. Heavy rain may result in areas of flooding, especially tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Thunderstorm chances return Tuesday night and Wednesday. Locally heavy rain will be the primary hazard.
