This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

An isolated thunderstorm will be possible through sunset mainly east
of the Mississippi River. Toward daybreak, scattered thunderstorms
may move southeast into southern Illinois and southeast Missouri.
There is some potential for a few stronger wind gusts with these
storms, but locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the
primary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A strong cold front will move across the region Tuesday,
accompanied by scattered thunderstorms. Some of the storms could
produce gusty winds along with heavy rain. A few thunderstorms may
linger behind the front into Tuesday night, but these storms will
have just a heavy rain and lightning threat.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
