This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to widely scattered non-severe thunderstorms are
forecast over part of the outlook area this afternoon and
again after midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The Storm Prediction Center has most of the outlook area,
generally south of Interstate 64 corridor, in a Marginal Risk for
severe storms, with the Purchase area of west Kentucky and
southern sections of southeast Missouri in a Slight Risk for
severe storms on Sunday.

Isolated to widely scattered severe thunderstorms may be possible
between daybreak and sunset on Sunday in the outlook area. There
may be better chance for marginal to severe hail earlier in the
day, with the best chance for damaging winds early Sunday
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lighting
will also be a concern.

Wind gusts away from thunderstorm activity, ahead of an
approaching cold front, may gust between 35 and 45 mph at times on


Spotter activation may be needed on Sunday.
