This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast tonight. Some may produce brief
heavy rain, and possibly gusty winds.

A Wind Advisory will go into effect at 4 AM most areas, as south to
southwest winds begin to gust up to 40 mph and continue through
daybreak. Winds will be slightly lower from the Ozark Foothills up
into southwest Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The Wind Advisory will continue through Noon Sunday. South to
southwest winds will continue to gust up to 40 mph at times through
the morning.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon
over most of the region, with the best coverage east of the
Mississippi River. A potential exists for a few strong or severe
thunderstorms. As lingering showers continue to move off to the east
Wednesday morning, northwesterly winds may gust to 35 mph.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO NOON CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana,
  western Kentucky and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
