This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Heat indices will average around 100 degrees late this afternoon
in southeast Missouri.

A complex of thunderstorms may move southeast across Illinois and
Missouri tonight. These storms are forecast to weaken as they
move into our region, however a few storms capable of strong winds
and hail could occur. The highest chance of a strong or severe
storm is north and west of Carbondale overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There is a chance of thunderstorms on Sunday. Lightning and brief
downpours are the main hazards.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Any
thunderstorms that develop should remain below severe limits.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
