This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 2 of 5 Tornado Risk.
     Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 70 mph.
     Level 2 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to ping pong ball size.
  Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Rain and embedded thunderstorms will move across the region this
morning, some with locally heavy rainfall.

Strong and gusty easterly winds may gust to around 45 mph this
morning.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this
afternoon. A few storms could become severe, primarily near and
south of a La Salle to Rensselaer line. All severe hazards,
including a few tornadoes, are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

  Spotters may be needed this afternoon and early evening.
