The combination of gusty southerly winds and afternoon humidities generally between 30 and 35 percent will lead to an elevated risk for fire spread near and south of the I-80 corridor through early evening, especially west and south of the Chicago metro area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
