...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Indiana and
southwest Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Flash Flood Watch.

Thunderstorms with gusty winds and heavy rain are expected today and
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Additional rounds of rain and thunderstorms are possible late
Saturday into early next week. Periods of heavy rainfall could
result in flooding of poor drainage areas and cause rises on area
rivers. Strong gusty winds are also possible with the storms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time but we would
appreciate any reports of heavy rain or flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan, including
  the following areas, in northern Indiana, Cass, Elkhart, Fulton,
  Kosciusko, La Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, St.
  Joseph, Starke, and White. In southwest Michigan, Berrien, Cass,
  and St. Joseph.

* Through Saturday morning

* Two rounds of heavy rain are expected. One this morning and
  another one tonight. 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected through
  tonight with locally higher amounts possible.

* Areal flooding is also possible. People living in flood prone
  locations, such as near creeks, low spots, and poor drainage
  areas may be impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
