Weather hazards expected... Limited to Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk. Limited Thunderstorm Risk late in the evening. Elevated Fire Weather Risk south of I-80. DISCUSSION... Winds will gust up to 40 to 45 mph from the southwest this afternoon. An elevated threat for grass and brush fire spread will continue through the afternoon south of I-80 where precipitation has been more limited over the past few days. Showers and even a few thunderstorms are possible late this evening. While the threat for severe weather is low, the strongest storms could produce wind gusts over 50 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
