...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northeastern Vigo,
northwestern Morgan, Hendricks, north central Clay, southeastern
Parke, northwestern Marion, southwestern Boone, southeastern
Montgomery and Putnam Counties through 800 PM EDT...

At 712 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Crawfordsville to 7 miles
southeast of Clinton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Brownsburg, Greencastle, Danville, Avon, Pittsboro, Cloverdale,
Ladoga, Clayton, Jamestown, Roachdale, Knightsville, Bainbridge,
Harmony, New Market, Fillmore, Coatesville, North Salem, Lizton, Amo,
and Carbon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 124 and 128.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 36 and 53.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 53 and 69.

Additional thunderstorms expected this evening into tonight. Damaging
winds will be the primary threat with the potential for isolated
flooding. Lightning is a threat with any thunderstorm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorms are possible most days.

Lightning and locally heavy rain will be the primary threats with
the storms.

Heat indices over 100 degrees may become common next Tuesday
afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated, but spotters are encouraged to
report any strong winds or heavy rain into tonight.
