This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

Flash Flood Watch from 7 PM Tonight through 10 AM Saturday.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

There is an ENHANCED RISK for severe thunderstorms this afternoon
and tonight. Severe storms are possible through this evening. The
main severe threats will be damaging winds. A few tornadoes and
large hail will also be possible. Prolific lightning is expected.
Heavy rainfall and a greater risk for flash flooding will also be
possible mainly from mid evening through tonight.

Hot and humid conditions will continue through early evening. Max
heat indices will reach 100 to 105 degrees in most locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

More thunderstorms are possible at times from Saturday through
Monday night and again late next week. There is a Marginal Risk for
severe weather Saturday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds,
large hail and isolated thunderstorms are possible.

Spotter activation will likely be needed through this evening.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Indiana, east central
  Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana and west central
  Indiana, including the following areas, in central Indiana,
  Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks,
  Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush and Shelby. In east central
  Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In south central Indiana,
  Brown, Jackson and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In west
  central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam,
  Vermillion and Vigo.

* From 8 PM EDT this evening through Saturday morning.

* Multiple waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected to
  develop this evening and continue overnight. 1 to 3 inches of rain
  is expected by Saturday morning with locally higher amounts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
