This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Multiple thunderstorm clusters are possible today and tonight. Storms
will be capable especially of damaging wind gusts...torrential
rainfall and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. The primary area of
concern for storms will be northeast of a Terre Haute to Columbus
line.

Heat index values may reach 100 degrees today...especially over
southwest portions of central Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible at times over all or
parts of central Indiana through Wednesday night. The best chances
look to be the middle of next week when a few strong to severe storms
are possible.

Heat index values around 100 to 105 degrees are possible during the
afternoon hours through Tuesday.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern
Hendricks, northern Marion, eastern Boone and southwestern Hamilton
Counties through 145 PM EDT...

At 113 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lebanon, or 18 miles south of Frankfort, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence, Lebanon,
Zionsville, Westfield, Cumberland, Whitestown, Meridian Hills, Warren
Park, Rocky Ripple, Williams Creek, Wynnedale, Ulen, Spring Hill,
Crows Nest, North Crows Nest, and Castleton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 115 and 144.
 Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 207.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 84 and 93.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
central Indiana.

* Until 145 PM EDT.

* At 106 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of
  Frankfort, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Anderson, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Cicero, Sheridan, Lapel,
  Edgewood, Arcadia, Kirklin, Atlanta, Kempton, and Morse Reservoir.

This includes Interstate 69 between mile markers 208 and 214.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
