Lafayette, West Lafayette, Frankfort, Kokomo, Attica, Covington,
Veedersburg, Crawfordsville, Lebanon, Zionsville, Tipton, Fishers,
Carmel, Noblesville, Anderson, Muncie, Winchester, Clinton, Newport,
Rockville, Greencastle, Plainfield, Brownsburg, Danville,
Indianapolis, Greenfield, Cumberland, New Castle, and Rushville

This hazardous weather outlook is for the northern half of central

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Light snow is expected today and will linger tonight for
parts of the area.

Hazards: Slick spots on roads and surfaces, especially elevated ones.

Timing: Spreading east into the area early this morning then
continuing at times today into tonight.

Discussion: Snow will overspread much of the area this morning,
mixing with rain for a time this afternoon. One to two inches of snow
are possible, with the highest amounts across far northern sections
of central Indiana. Temperatures will remain mainly above freezing,
helping to reduce impacts from the snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Outlook: No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Discussion: Dry weather will rule into Thursday, then a weak system
could bring a rain and snow mix around Friday.


Spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts today.
