This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Strong winds gusts up to 50 mph are possible this morning through
early to mid afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Monday night through Wednesday.
Severe storms including large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are
possible during this period, primarily Tuesday afternoon through
early Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed Tuesday and Wednesday.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central,
  southeast, southwest and west central Indiana.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest wind gusts are expected from 10
  am through 1 pm.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
