This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Cold wind chills today. Gusty winds this morning.

Hazards: Wind gusts peaking at 40 mph early this morning. Wind
chills below zero this morning and in the single digits this
afternoon and tonight.

Timing: Highest wind gusts are expected through daybreak. Coldest
wind chills this morning.

Discussion: Flurries will end early this morning with cold and dry
conditions the rest of the day.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Outlook: Near zero wind chills Monday morning. A wintry mix of
precipitation is possible both Thursday and Friday nights.

Discussion: Cold dry weather will continue to start the work week
with a warming trend anticipated the second half of the week. The
approach of a storm system Thursday night into next weekend may bring
a wintry mix Thursday and Friday nights.

...COLD TEMPERATURES EARLY THIS MORNING...

Temperatures will drop into the single digits and teens by
daybreak. These temperatures combined with continued brisk
westerly winds will produce wind chills as low as -10 to 0 over
much of central Indiana with a few spots in north central Indiana
bottoming out between -15 and -10. Temperatures will remain cold
throughout the day with wind chills only rising into the single
digits.

Be sure to bundle up if heading outdoors this morning.
