This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for East Central Indiana, Southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Heat Advisory. Storms will be possible this afternoon through tonight. The greatest threat for a strong to severe storm or two will be this afternoon through early evening. Additionally, more storms will be possible late tonight. Gusty winds and locally heavy rain are the main threats with this activity. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Several rounds of storms are expected Wednesday through Friday. Some of the storms may be strong to severe. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats. Also, heavy rain may result in localized flooding with the repeated rounds of storms. Also, maximum heat indices will be near 100 Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and this evening. $$

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
