Strong non-thunderstorm winds are expected today, with gusts of 40
to 45 mph possible. Strong to severe storms will move through the
region this evening, with damaging winds being the primary severe
threat, although a spin-up tornado and hail cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms this evening will move from the southwest to the northeast at
50 to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
