This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Bands of moderate to heavy snow will produce light accumulations
through early this morning, with travel impacts possible in parts
of southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Refer to the Winter
Weather Advisory and Special Weather Statement for details.

Overland flooding from Saturday`s heavy rain will continue early
this morning across much of western Kentucky. Refer the the Flood
Warnings for additional information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Accumulating snowfall with travel impacts is becoming increasingly
likely Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

Dangerous cold is forecast for much of next week. Morning wind
chill values will be near or below zero Wednesday through Friday.

Widespread river flooding will continue or is forecast to develop
along parts of the Ohio and Green Rivers.

EST/ THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Bands of heavy snow that will produce a quick 1 to 2 inches
  of accumulation. Gusty winds up to 35 mph will reduce visibility
  and cause any lingering water on road surfaces to freeze.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
  Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM CST /9 AM EST/ this morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions.

...Light Snow Early This Morning...

Bands of light to occasionally moderate snow will move through
the region early this morning. This snow will produce light
accumulations ranging from a dusting up to one inch. While
widespread travel impacts are not expected, isolated slippery
spots are possible, especially on less traveled back roads. If
driving this morning, use extra caution if you encounter snow
accumulation on the roads.
