This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered storms are expected through early this
evening. Brief heavy downpours and lightning will be the main
hazards, although a few damaging wind gusts and localized flooding
cannot be ruled out.

Minor to moderate river flooding is forecast to continue at
points on the Mississippi River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Minor to moderate river flooding is forecast to continue at
points on the Mississippi River.

Triple digit heat indices will be possible throughout the region
Sunday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday into Thursday. Some of
the storms could become strong to severe.

Spotters are encouraged to report any severe weather or flooding
to the National Weather Service this afternoon and evening.
