...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana and western Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Active weather is expected with several rounds of showers and
thunderstorms possible overnight. Isolated severe thunderstorms are
possible with damaging winds being the primary concern. Repetitive
heavy thunderstorm rains are possible that may lead to flash
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday before very hot
and humid conditions take hold. The hottest conditions so far this
year are forecast with heat index values 100 to 105 degrees.
Another front brings a chance for storms/heavy rain Thursday night
and Friday and possibly returning this weekend.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
  areas, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson,
  Johnson, Perry IL, Pope, Saline, Wabash, Wayne IL, White and
  Williamson, southwest Indiana, including the following areas,
  Gibson, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick, and western
  Kentucky, including the following areas, Caldwell, Calloway,
  Christian, Crittenden, Daviess, Henderson, Hopkins, Livingston,
  Lyon, Marshall, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union KY and
  Webster.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
