...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Kentucky...Illinois...
  Ohio River at Owensboro...Newburgh Dam...Evansville...Mount
  Vernon...J.T. Meyers Dam...Shawneetown and Golconda

.The points along the Ohio will continue to fall, with locations
going below flood stage over the next several days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

* At  6:00 PM Thursday the stage was 42.5 feet.
* Flood Stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  tomorrow late morning.
* Impact...At 42.0 Feet...The river is 3300 feet wide.

* until Sunday morning.
* At  6:00 PM Thursday the stage was 44.9 feet.
* Flood Stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 46.0 Feet...Highway 662 near the old Lock and Dam 47
  begins to flood. This is approximately 1/2 mile downstream from the
  current lock and dam.

* At  6:00 AM Thursday the stage was 43.2 feet.
* Flood Stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Monday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 45.0 Feet...Large portions of Point Township in Posey
  county are flooded.
