...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of one to two
  inches likely. Winds gusting as high as 25 to 35 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Indiana, southeast Missouri,
  western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on scattered slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow accumulation may be higher on grassy
  and elevated surfaces, and lower on area roads. However slick
  spots may develop as temperatures rapidly fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the area this
afternoon and evening. Some travel impacts will be possible during
the late day commute. Refer to the Advisory product for details.

Record or near record cold is on tap late tonight, with lows from
14 to 19, and wind chill temperatures from zero to 5 above by late
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Very cold conditions will continue Tuesday, with highs only in the
mid 20s to near 30, and wind chill temperatures only in the
single digits in the morning, then teens midday through afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to measure and report wintry
precipitation accumulation through this evening.
