...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...Indiana...Illinois and Missouri...

  Ohio River at Paducah.

  Ohio River at Shawneetown.

  Ohio River at Smithland Dam.

  Ohio River at Golconda.

  Ohio River at Evansville.

  Ohio River at Owensboro.

  Ohio River at Olmsted Lock and Dam .

  Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

  Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam.

  Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  the Ohio River at Evansville.
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 8:00 PM CST Thursday the stage was 42.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 43.2 feet
  Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage next Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 42.0 feet, The river is 3300 feet wide.

  the Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.
* Until Friday, March 12.
* At 7:00 PM CST Thursday the stage was 45.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 46.2 feet
  early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage on
  Friday, March 12.
* Impact...At 46.0 feet, Highway 662 near the old Lock and Dam 47
  begins to flood. This is approximately 1/2 mile downstream from
  the current lock and dam.

* Until Saturday, March 13.
* At 6:00 AM CST Thursday the stage was 40.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 43.5 feet early Tuesday morning,
  then remain nearly steady through Thursday morning. It is then
  expected to fall below flood stage Saturday, March 13.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet, Farm land and some main roads are flooded
  in places southwest and west of Mt. Vernon.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet, Large portions of Point Township in Posey
  county are flooded.
