The main concerns with storms will be lightning and brief heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday and Saturday night. A few strong to severe storms will be possible Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening, with the main concerns being damaging winds and heavy rainfall. From Sunday through Thursday, there will be a daily chance of isolated to scattered thunderstorms, primarily during the heat of the day. The best chances will be on Sunday. Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees are expected Monday in southeast Missouri, southwest Illinois, and far west Kentucky. The heat will intensify Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat index values of 105 to 109 degrees forecast across the entire region. On Thursday, heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees will be confined to southeast Missouri. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
