This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky and southeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...Tonight. Locally dense fog cannot be ruled out early Wednesday morning, particularly in locations that have recently received rain. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Heat index readings of 100 to 105 are forecast through at least Friday, and may continue this weekend into Monday. Isolated to widely scattered storms may provide temporary relief each day through Friday. Health impacts will build with each successive day in the heat and humidity. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
