This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Severe thunderstorms are possible mainly during the afternoon and
into the evening today. Large hail and damaging winds look to be
the main hazards, but a tornado cannot be ruled out. The
thunderstorms could also produce torrential rainfall tonight into
Sunday morning. A flash flood watch remains in effect for
northeast and east central Kansas through the morning Sunday.

Flooding on the Big Blue River near Blue Rapids continues.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible through the day on Sunday.
Some locally heavy rainfall will be possible during the morning
hours Sunday. A flash flood watch is in effect through early
Sunday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon and tonight.

Spotters are encouraged to report rainfall amounts over one inch
to the National Weather Service in Topeka.
