This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect along and west of
Highway 25 until 10 pm MDT this evening. Isolated severe
thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and localized
flash flooding are the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Isolated severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail
and wind gusts up to 65 mph will be possible Saturday afternoon and
evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any severe or hazardous weather
associated with thunderstorms this evening.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT /7 AM CDT/
SATURDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Colorado, Kansas, and southwest Nebraska,
  including the following areas, in Colorado, Cheyenne County,
  Kit Carson County, and Yuma County. In Kansas, Cheyenne,
  Decatur, Gove, Graham, Greeley, Logan, Norton, Rawlins,
  Sheridan, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace, and Wichita. In southwest
  Nebraska, Dundy, Hitchcock, and Red Willow.

* Until 6 AM MDT /7 AM CDT/ Saturday

* Heavy rainfall associated with thunderstorms may result in
  flash flooding.

* Areas which received heavy rainfall last night will be most
  susceptible to flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that additional rainfall may result in
flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to move quickly to higher
ground should flash flooding occur.
