At 156 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported gusty showers along
a line extending from 3 miles southeast of Reserve to 3 miles south
of Barnard. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Manhattan, Junction City, Abilene, Wamego, Clay Center, Holton,
Hiawatha, Sabetha, Minneapolis, Seneca, Westmoreland, Blaine, Ogden,

Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Storms moving into north-central Kansas around midnight tonight may
pose a brief risk for damaging winds before weakening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Heat indices 100 to 105 degrees are possible Wednesday, most likely
along and south of Interstate 70.

Strong to severe storms are also possible Wednesday into Wednesday
night, with damaging winds the main hazard.
