This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and tonight.

A few non-severe thunderstorms may develop late tonight and into
Friday morning across the area. Late this evening and overnight,
areas of freezing rain are likely, with some sleet mixed in at
times, across north central Kansas and may expand as far east as
Hiawatha to Manhattan to Council Grove. Ice accumulations of up to
one-tench of an inch will be possible, with the primary impacts
being on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. As a
result, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect and has been
expanded eastward, starting at midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The Winter Weather Advisory continues across north central to
northeast Kansas until 10 am Friday.

As winds calm and temperatures fall into the upper twenties by
Saturday morning, frost and freeze conditions may set up across a
portions of the area.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
