This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very high grassland fire danger is possible over central Kansas
this afternoon, due to breezy south winds and above average
temperatures.

A few showers and thunderstorms are possible later tonight through
Thursday morning across central and eastern Kansas, but severe
weather is unlikely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Stout and gusty south winds and above average temperatures will
support very high grassland fire danger Thursday and Friday, and
possibly Saturday across the region.

Shower and thunderstorm chances increase late Saturday afternoon
through Sunday morning across mainly the eastern half of Kansas.
Stay tuned as we continue to refine forecast details in the coming
days.

Sub-freezing temperatures are possible Sunday night into early
Monday. Those with sensitive outdoor plants should continue to
monitor the latest forecast.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
