This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices from 100 to 106 are expected this afternoon,
especially across south-central Kansas. See Heat Advisory for more
details.

Strong to severe storms are possible across central and south-
central Kansas, this afternoon into tonight. Up to golfball size
hail, damaging winds around 60 to 70 mph, and a few tornadoes will
be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat indices between 100 and 105 are possible both Tuesday and
Wednesday afternoons, especially across southern and southeast
Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances return each afternoon and evening for
Wednesday through Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible this afternoon and tonight.
